@ 279 The Jews tampered with the Words of Allah 4:44-47
4:44 Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book was given purchasing error and wishing that you should err from the Path?
# أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيباً مِّنَ الكِتَابِ يَشْتَرُونَ الضَّلالَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيلَ 44
4:45 But Allah knows best your enemies. It is sufficient that Allah is the Guardian, and it is sufficient that Allah is the Helper.
# وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَلِياًّ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ نَصِيراً 45
4:46 Some Jews tampered with the words (altering) their places saying, 'We have heard and we disobey,' and 'hear, without hearing,' and 'Observe us (Ra'ina, in Hebrew means evil)', twisting with their tongues traducing religion. But if they had said, 'We have heard and obey,' and 'Hear,' and 'Regard us,' it would have been better for them, and more upright; but Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they do not believe, except a few.
# مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُونَ الكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَياًّ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْناً فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً 46
